

Dr. Herschman's diverse but related areas of expertise are in Primary Clinical Medicine - anesthesiology, pain management, and critical care/trauma; and Forensic Science. He currently practices medicine, performs research, provides toxicology evaluations, conducts independent medical examinations (IMEs), serves as a consultant and expert witness, and is working on a PhD in Forensic Science/Criminal Justice.
He received an MD from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, in Critical Care Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology, in Pain Management by the American Academy of Pain Management, and in Pain Management by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Dr. Herschman holds a medical license in New York, New Jersey and Illinois, and in acupuncture in New York.
Current academic appointments include Adjunct Professor, Yeshiva University, Stern College for Women, Department of Biology, Course in Forensic Science; and Senior Research Fellow, Neuroscience Group, F.R. Carrick Institute for Clinical Ergonomics, Rehabilitation and Applied Neurosciences of Leeds Metropolitan University.
Through his practice, the Center for Pain Management, Dr. Herschman
provides pain management and acupuncture care in New York and New Jersey,
and he is a Consultant in Toxicology for the New York City Poison Control
Center. He provides expert witness services through his firm, Premier
Forensic Consultants.
